Discover this cozy coffee in Westfield, PA
Nestled in to the store fronts of Westfield, is a cozy and cultural shop that many may be surprised to find in a small, quiet town. Clockworks Coffee is offering a variety of delicious drinks to the area, including: lattes, chai, drip brews, frappes, Italian soda, and more! Owner and sole proprietor, Nicholas Swede, shared how he followed his interest in to a reality.
The first step was to renovate the space. Nicholas mentioned that the section that comprises Clockworks actually used to be an alleyway. The area was enclosed prior to the coffeeshop’s existent, and when Nicholas Swede moved in to set up shop there was a lot of renovation work to be done! The shop is outfitted in an industrial interior, complete with exposed brick, pipe, and industrial light fixtures. Upon stepping in to Clockworks Coffee, you immediately notice this style in the space. Then, you make your way to the counter, where the “keeper-of-the-coffee” waits to take your order.
Nicholas has learned a lot about coffee prep since starting the shop. He remarked about the difference the smallest change in ground fineness makes! Espresso is especially delicate. However, he has perfected the craft, because his latte tasted full, rich, and smooth. The chai is another great feature on the menu, tasting spicy and luscious. And, for something a little different than your average coffee menu, try Clockworks Italian sodas! The fizzy flavored treats are light and refreshing, perfect for kids or a summer treat.
Clockworks Coffee is a welcome addition to the Westfield area, and is serving up some satisfying choices for your morning wake-up and afternoon pick-me-up! Check it out for yourself!
