Dr. Weiner introduces Dr. Shaw of Grand Canyon Veterinary Hospital
On this special edition of Creature Care Dr. John Weiner of Pleasant Valley Veterinary Care introduces us to Dr. Kristine Shaw. Dr. Shaw has recently opened Grand Canyon Veterinary Hospital, a new veterinary clinic in Wellsboro.
Dr. Shaw says that from her earliest memory of what her dream job could be she always wanted to be a vet. Dr. Shaw and her family have been working diligently on getting this new clinic open for almost a year. Then on June 30th, Grand Canyon Veterinary Hospital celebrated their grand opening at 23 Water Street in Wellsboro.
Grand Canyon Veterinary Hospital offers the full services of a general practice veterinary hospital including surgery, vaccinations, wellness care, treatment for allergies and ear problems, a dog kennel, cat boarding, and more.
Dr. Shaw’s dream job began with a little white kitten that her family had growing up. The kitten was suffering from ear mites and had to be taken in to see the local veterinarian. The vet came and got Dr. Shaw and took her into the back of the hospital and let her look into the microscope to see the ear mites. Those moments changed Kristine’s life forever. She concluded that this had to be the greatest job in the world. Nothing has changed much. We hope you enjoy today’s special broadcast feature.
